WHO CAN SAVE THE MOST MONEY?

You have probably noticed the extreme delay between postings from me over the last couple of months…and I truly appreciate your patience as I have been a bit swamped and a little distracted by the fact that my Research and Development staff was cut in half in that time due to the fact that we promoted my ‘right hand’ helper to a new position.
This put me on the look out for a replacement for a position that is hard to fill considering our extensive product line and the need for my ‘right hand’ to have intimate knowlege of it as well as a passion for our mission.  But our God is good and He can provide!  I recently found that replacement in someone you have heard from on this blog many times in the past.  Cindy has agreed to come on board and give us a hand…a right hand if you will!  One of the places she will help out is with this blog.  Between the 2 of us…we hope to keep the conversations flowing more frequently so we can hear back from you and get the chatter going!  Now…she has not been set up to access the blog entry page yet, but I thought I would share with you a note I recently got from her as a way introduction.  So here is a word from Cindy…
…I confess!!!  We had been out all day, I had forgotten to throw something in the crockpot before I left and quite frankly, had no energy to lift a pot.  We went to the drive thru.  By the time the bags were in the car, I had spent $20.57.  At the end of the night, I had indigestion, no left-overs and one child crying about a missing toy from her meal!
Yesterday, I went to our wholesale club and spent $146.73 on meat and canned goods.  Armed with my HG Pantry Staples and my ziptop bags, I completed 22 meals for my family of four.  Without the cost of my seasonings, I spent $6.67 per meal.  Even with my seasonings and my sides, I’m under $12.00 per meal, or $3.00 per person.  So which is the better deal?  Spending $452.54 for 22 meals in the drive through, OR spending $264.00 for 22 healthy meals that I know I will have leftovers to create either another meal or at the very least, lunch the next day?
How much money did you save this month?
…I look forward to hearing your comments to Cindy’s question!
God Bless and Keep You,
Tami
