Silly title, I know.

Five years ago this weekend, I received one of the greatest birthday presents anyone could ever hope for . . . a baby girl! (Yes, that means she’s turning five and I’m turning . . . never mind.) That’s right, my youngest daughter was born on my birthday. This weekend we are celebrating our birthdays with a BBQ, well, hopefully. Here in Texas it has rained every day for 2 weeks with no end in sight.

I have already found out that this year our birthday cake is a “Hello Kitty” cake. Lucky me. I have planned all the different Homemade Gourmet burgers and brats and salads (that BBQ bundle sure came in handy!), but with friends and family around, I always like to have TONS of dips and appetizers. We have so many to choose from, I thought I would ask you which ones to serve. There are 20 people coming, so I would like to have lots of choices available. About half of my family loves things HOT, HOT, HOT and the other half can’t handle a green chili.
