A New Year Begins!

Home at last! Family Reunion was . . . OK, way too many adjectives to choose from. Seeing familiar faces and brand new faces, listening to the new programs and products, being inspired, remembering our past and planning our future, laughing and crying. So many emotions caught up in so few days!

What did you miss? I will let others post on here their “Ah-Ha” moments, because I heard so many. I checked my email this morning and one of our newest Team Leaders, Kim Sharp wrote me, “I’ve only been home 3 hours and I’ve already sold one of our new products!” Kim came home and immediately contacted some of her customers about the new products and was making sales! Kim, I am so proud of you!

There were so many success stories that I heard during the weekend. Without a doubt, Tami Van Hoy, Ken Johnson, John Himelfarb and Barb Willard inspired us all to dig deep, to be all that God created us to be, to dream, to aspire, to climb higher, to take that extra step and take action in our lives.

We laughed and cried listening to stories from leaders in the company about the history of Homemade Gourmet and of their history in it. From humblest beginnings to today, we have been a family filled with love, hope and a mission! I am so grateful to the Taste Testing Team for their support and the fantastic job they all did during the New Product Launch. It was so hard to keep a straight face as they performed.

I am also grateful for those leaders that attended the breakout sessions and shared their wisdom with the newer distributors. In my breakout sessions, Peggy, Kim, Kate, Chris and many others shared ideas and really welcomed new distributors to the family.

I am home now. Tired, but it is a good tired. Thank you to everyone who made Family Reunion so wonderful. Thank you for your kind comments, your helpful suggestions, your excitement, your friendship and for being a part of our family!

I always said that it is difficult to explain to those who could not attend Family Reunion what it was like. I have only touched the surface. For those of you who attended, could you help? Please share your experiences, so that everyone can have a small taste (sorry, couldn’t help it, hee hee) of Family Reunion.

I’m already excited about next year! - Cindy
