Almond Cheesecake with Chocolate Sauce


  • 1 Homemade Gourmet® Basic Cheesecake Mix 
  • 2(8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1½ teaspoons almond extract, divided
  • 1 (8-ounce) whipped topping, thawed and divided
  • 1 graham cracker crust or chocolate cookie crust
  • 1/3 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds


  1. In a bowl, beat the mix and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently stir in 1 teaspoon almond extract and 4 ounces whipped topping.
  3. Spoon mixture into pie crust and top with remaining whipped topping. Chill at least 2 hours.
  4. When ready to serve, combine syrup and chips with remaining ½ teaspoon almond extract in small microwaveable bowl.  Microwave in 30 seconds increments until chips are melted.  Drizzle warm chocolate sauce over cheesecake.  Top with sliced almonds.
